UNICEF UK winter campaign “World Upside Down” reaches 1.5 million views within the first 24 hours

Don’t Panic London have created a film to launch UNICEF UK’s winter campaign. ‘World Upside Down‘ shows the uncertain and frightening realities for children in countries facing civil unrest and fallout after natural disasters.

The film tells the story of a young family taking a trip to the park, but before long things start to take a turn for the worse. The film demonstrates the stark differences between the lives of two children who appear to be playing in a safe playground as their parents look on, before flipping to the same children in vulnerable and life threatening scenarios. As the children turn upside down on the climbing frame, their world turns upside down with them. The contrast of the two realities is bought to life with clever camerawork and editing. The film features an exclusive cover of Soft Black Stars performed by Mercury Prize winning artist Antony & the Johnsons.#WorldUpsideDown
