As 2022 fast approaches, it brings with it a whole range of questions: is this the year you’ll be able to entirely stop thinking about other humans’ droplets? And lastly, is this the year your business truly does all it can when it comes to social purpose?Our upcoming Zoom event, “Get Fit for Purpose”, aims to address just the latter of these questions, with an introduction from Richard Curtis before a live panel discussion featuring journalist George Monbiot, founder of CoppaFeel, Kris Hallenga, CEO of Choose Love, Josie Naughton and more! They’ll be exploring all the main challenges we’re currently facing, what brands can do to help, and how they can best work together with charities, creating more effective partnerships and playing a pivotal role in 2022.Sure, the world may be very much on fire, but we believe brands have the power to help douse the flames. So, join us for a positive and lively session to ensure your business kicks off the next year with all the purpose of Boris Johnson at a buffet. THE SPEAKERS

RICHARD CURTIS

Richard Curtis is a film writer and director, he is co-founder and vice-chair of Comic Relief, which led to the fundraising event, Red Nose Day. In 2015 he helped found Project Everyone to work to make the Global Goals famous and effective – and is now a UN Advocate for the Sustainable Development Goals.

JOSIE NAUGHTON

Josie Naughton is the Co-Founder and CEO of Choose Love, which she started in response to the refugee crisis in Calais in 2015, and is now dedicated to ending the refugee crisis around the world. Over the past six years, Choose Love has helped over 1million people and raised millions of pounds.

AMIKA GEORGE

Amika George MBE is a 21 year old British activist, author, entrepreneur and founder of Free Periods, a not-for-profit campaign group. In response to her activism, George has been honoured on the Time Most Influential Teens of 2018 list, among others. She is the author of Make It Happen: How to Be an Activist and writer for Vogue, alongside finishing her final year at Cambridge University.

GEORGE MONBIOT

George Monbiot is an author, Guardian columnist and environmental campaigner. His best-selling books include Feral, Heat, and Out of the Wreckage; viral videos include How Wolves Change Rivers(over 40m views on YouTube), adapted from his 2013 TED Talk and Nature Now, co-presented with Greta Thunberg (60m+ views). George’s new book (May 22) is about feeding the world without devouring the planet.

KRIS HALLENGA

Kris Hallenga is the founder of CoppaFeel!, a breast cancer awareness charity which she started after being diagnosed with secondary breast cancer at the age of 23. CoppaFeel! aims to help everyone stand the best possible chance of surviving breast cancer by educating and spreading awareness.
