WE GOT LONDONERS TO DRINK DOGS’ MILK?!

In our latest video ‘Could you stomach this?’ with PETA UK we pulled one of our classic prank/stunts to point out that drinking the milk of another species is just, well, naaaasty.We organised a focus group for “Barker’s Farmhouse Milk”, get it, “Barker’s”, and handed out some tasty samples of a new milk brand. The responses started off on a positive note; receiving praise for the creamy white beverage. However, we then had our big reveal. DOGS’ MILK!?? (sidenote: no it wasn’t, it was soy milk but our suspects didn’t know that). Once the taste-testers are told they’re drinking “dog’s milk,” the atmosphere curdles, painful echoes cry out, “Would you ever drink that madness?”Let the spitting and disgust commence.

The new prank video (available here) asks,”‘Dog’s’ milks, cats’ milk, rats’ milk, cow’s’ milk – what’s the difference?'” The people in the video weren’t the only ones totally disgusted or intrigued it seems, as the video has gained over 2.7 MILLION VIEWS in UNDER 24 HOURS.

“Humans are the only species on the planet that drinks another animal’s milk, and cows’ milk is no more natural for us than dogs’ milk”. “Whether from a dog, a pig, a rat or a cow, the thought of drinking another species’ milk should turn anyone’s stomach”,” says PETA Director Elisa Allen. “PETA’s prank video reminds consumers that when it comes to milk, plant-based is best.”PETA argue that if the thought of drinking dogs’ milk makes you feel ill, why drink the milk from any other animal? After all, there is nothing “normal” about artificially inseminating a cow and forcing her to give birth, only to tear her beloved calf away from her so that the milk that nature intended for her baby can be consumed by humans instead.
